About Me

My name is JEM and I am the editor-in-chief of JEM Legacy Publishing, LLC. I am also your guide and expert in all things administrative and office/work-related. My goal is to give you useful, insightful and relevant advice and information in your quest to succeed (whatever success means to you) in your workplace – and in your life.

Who is JEM? I am one of you, and have been for over 20 years. My experience runs the gamut (I was even stationed at West Point and am a veteran of the U.S. Army!), with my expertise rooted in the areas of administrative/executive assistance, support and office management.

I am currently employed full-time as a senior-level executive assistant in a large corporation. And like many of you, I am not currently working my dream job! (But…I expect that to change in the very near future.)

So….as you may have figured out by now, JEM is not actually my name. It’s a pseudonym because I can’t do what I do and share the information I share with you unless I hide my true identity. (Trust me, my employer wouldn’t see what I am doing here as something that complements my day job.)

I can say that I am a 40+-year-old woman and the divorced mom of two teenaged boys. I live and work in the U.S. and am dedicated to YOU – to you building your skills, expanding your knowledge base and doing whatever it is you need to do to get to where you want to be in your career.
